Pharmaceutical firms began
developing a vaccine as soon as COVID-19 began to spread fast across the
country. However, the first batches of dosages were only suitable for
individuals aged 18 to 59. The countrywide COVID-19 immunization program for
12-17 year-olds did not begin until November 3, 2021. Vaccines are widely
available, yet parents are still hesitant to vaccinate their children. This
might be related to vaccination apprehension or a lack of vaccine information.
So, if we have the funds, we should look into developing a vaccine.
Before taking a vaccination, we
should make sure we are healthy enough to get it. Because children's bodies are
different from adults', they require smaller dosages or quantities. We should
be mindful of the medical issues of our children. If they have a weak immune
system or comorbidities, they should first seek medical advice from their
doctor. Because side effects are a key element of the vaccination, we should be
aware of them before we get it. The vaccination has been demonstrated to be
safe and efficacious in children aged five and up. Vaccinating ourselves will
help us in the long run. It may not completely protect us from infection, but
it does reduce our risks of catching and spreading the disease. Having a
majority of the population vaccinated is a critical step toward becoming immune
and COVID-free.
We should prioritize the health of
our children and youth in our life, especially during the epidemic. They are an
important member of our community who requires particular care and protection.
We should increase our chances of living a healthy life while we still have the
opportunity. Vaccines help us to focus on our work instead of worrying about
our health. It allows our children to enjoy a regular life at these
extraordinary times. So, for the sake of our country's health, let us educate
ourselves and others on pediatric vaccines.
