Christmas is a happy time for everyone, men and women equally. We frequently spend the holidays with our loved ones. At this time of year, we get the chance to spend time with them, and just the thought of it makes us joyful. Jesus' birth is commemorated in the Misa De Gallo, which begins on December 16th.

The Cathedral of St. Paul is often packed, but during this epidemic, we must maintain physical space both inside and outside the church to prevent the COVID-19 virus from spreading. Christmas in Vigan is considerably different from what we used to do during this time of pandemic. It is against the law to celebrate Christmas in public places.

We used to be able to exchange gifts with our families, friends, and classmates during public Christmas celebrations, but because to the COVID-19 virus, we are no longer able to do so. Holding meetings is absolutely prohibited. Christmas decorations, lights, and a Christmas tree can still be visible all across Vigan despite the pandemic. The streets of Burgos and Salcedo are filled with Christmas lights and decorations.
